This award is based on the number of guests that go out of their way to specifically mention a staff member for outstanding Customer Service. Mimi Shrader also received the Outer Banks Blue Annual Service Award for 2008, as well as becoming the 1st two time winner of the award.
Mimi has worked for over 20 years in the field of Customer Service. Her previous experiences range from a history in Hotel Management and Retail, Flight Attendant during September 11, 2001, to Non-profit Agency work for the Disabled. “I think that we get something from everyone we come in contact with, no matter how we come into contact with them”, Mimi states, “and if you are helping them plan something fun like a vacation, well that is even better!”
