Right Management's Maureen Shea Honored with Human Resources Hall of Fame Award

Fort Lauderdale, FL, February 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Maureen Shea, chief financial officer for Right Management’s Florida/Caribbean Region, has been inducted into the Human Resource Association of Broward County’s (HRABC) Hall of Fame.

Each year the organization selects one distinguished leader for the honor, from its membership of more than 1000 human resource professionals. “Maureen Shea’s inspiration, leadership and support have helped shape our organization for many years,” said HRABC President Maria Perez. “As an innovator who recognizes opportunities in changing business cycles, she is an invaluable resource.”

Shea provides strategic financial management for the Florida/Caribbean Region of Right Management, the worldwide talent and career management consulting firm. She also is responsible for developing and retaining talent within Right’s seven-office regional operation, which she co-owns with her husband, CEO Tom Shea. They co-founded the company in 1979 as Florida’s first outplacement firm and affiliated with Right three years later. Maureen Shea has successfully managed the regional firm’s financial and human capital, as her team generated a roster of long-term corporate and organizational clients.

She is a former president of HRABC, which is the Broward County chapter of the global Society for Human Resource Management. Active in HRABC since 1976, she serves on its Past Presidents’ Council. Her wide-ranging civic and charitable leadership has been recognized with honors including the National Conference for Community and Justice Silver Medallion and the City of Hope Award.
