Annual List of Top Franchise Systems Ranks Nurse Next Door
Home care franchise system takes 7th spot on annual North American wide list.
Vancouver, Canada, February 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For the second year in a row Nurse Next Door Home Healthcare Services, Canada’s fastest growing home care franchise system, has been ranked as one of the top franchise systems in North America. The 5th annual awards program run by Franchise Business Review (FBR), an international franchise market research firm, announced Nurse Next Door as the 7th best system in North America with less than 50 units.
FBR’s annual list recognizes the best franchise systems in North America in terms of franchisee satisfaction by conducting independent surveys of franchisees from hundreds of systems across North America. The survey is considered an important resource tool for prospective franchisees as it focuses on training, support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations and financial opportunity with an unbiased, third party view.
“Ranking among the top 10 franchise systems across North America for the second consecutive year is incredibly encouraging,” said John DeHart, co-founder of Nurse Next Door. “We’re in an industry that is growing at an extremely rapid rate. This distinction shows that we have achieved our growth while still maintaining the success and satisfaction of our franchise partners.”
Nurse Next Door has quickly grown from 1 location in Vancouver in 2007 to 36 franchise locations across the country today. The fastest growing home care franchise system in Canada, Nurse Next Door is adding about 1 to 2 new locations per month and quickly becoming the leading private provider of both medical and non-medical in-home care for seniors.
Recognition has been piling up recently for the hyper growth company. In addition to being named one of the top franchise systems in North America, the company was also recently named the number one employer in British Columbia by BCBusiness Magazine.
“We put a tremendous amount of focus on our people, both our employees and our franchise partners,” said Ken Sim, the other half of Nurse next Door’s co-founding team. “This recent recognition is a great step forward as we try to build Nurse Next Door into a globally admired brand. We’re not afraid to admit that our expansion plans are extremely aggressive. The only way we will achieve them is if we continue to be the best at what we do.”
With 92% of franchise partners taking part in the survey, Nurse Next Door achieved an overall general satisfaction result of 90% compared to a franchise industry average of 67%. In compiling this year’s results, FBR surveyed more than 500 brands.
