Amadeus Consulting and SuZy Murphy Launch a Successful Needlepoint Stitch Application for iPhone™

Boulder, CO, February 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Amadeus Consulting, a custom iPhone application development company, is excited to announce the successful launch of SuZy’s Stitches, a needlepoint stitch iPhone™ application. SuZy’s Stitches was developed with SuZy Murphy and uses images and randomized tips and quips to guide the user on needlepoint stitches.

SuZy Murphy approached Amadeus Consulting because of the company’s technical expertise and experience developing multiple varieties of mobile applications. In addition, she appreciated the Amadeus Consulting team’s willingness to work with small companies and felt confident Amadeus Consulting would be able address her distinctive requirements.

SuZy Murphy wanted to capture the information from her Portable Stitches book in a fun, simple and interactive way for the iPhone. This project was SuZy’s first foray into iPhone applications. Amadeus Consulting created SuZy’s Portable Stitches based on SuZy’s book, Portable Stitches. The skilled development team worked hard to incorporate all of the information from the book and repackage it for an interactive experience. The graphics team created a large amount of image files in the application and made the stitch examples easy to utilize. Amadeus Consulting also created a unique randomization feature for generating useful tips and quips that pop-up depending on what type of stitch the user is researching. Additionally, Amadeus Consulting helped SuZy Murphy submit SuZy’s Portable Stitches to the Apple® App Store. The process includes additional testing and approval from the App Review team. SuZy’s Portable Stitches iPhone app was submitted to the Apple App Store for approval on December 10, 2009 and was approved and uploaded to the app store on December 17, 2009. SuZy’s Portable Stitches has proved to be a popular benefit for needleworkers. It has received many glowing user reviews.
