Toyota of Tampa Bay is Tampa's Resource for the Toyota Recall
Tampa, FL, February 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- By now you’ve no doubt heard that Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc, announced recalls on specific models.
Toyota of Tampa Bay is your local area Toyota Recall Location. If your vehicle is subject to either or both recalls please contact Toyota of Tampa Bay immediately to discover what they can do for you. As a member of this community they feel it is their responsibility to ensure that everything that can be done for your peace of mind is done.
The first recall is the accelerator pedal recall (AOA). This recall consists of installing a steel reinforcement bar (about the size of a nickel) behind the accelerator pedal mechanism which prevents the sticky pedal concern. The repair takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
The second is the floor mat recall (90L). The 90L recall is the modification of the accelerator pedal, enhancement to the carpet mat and computer re flashing. This repair takes approximately 2 hours. Currently the Camry is the only model that has parts available for the floor mat recall. Additional models’ parts will become available in the coming weeks. If your vehicle requires both of these recalls, they will, of course, make every effort to complete them for you in one trip.
