Faith Hoops Santa Cruz County Co-Ed Basketball League Kicks Off in March

Santa Cruz, CA, February 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Faith Hoops, a sports ministry entity specializing in basketball leagues, camps and 3-on-3 tournaments announced today that their Spring Co-Ed Basketball League will start on March 21st, 2010. A wide range of Hoopsters will compete in Faith Hoops spring league, from Division 1 college players to the occasional weekend basketball player.The season will also include an All-Star Day in April that will include a 5-on-5 Game, Slam Dunk Contest, 3 Point Shootout, Raffle and games and prizes for the whole family.

Game locations for the Spring season will include Bethany University, Santa Cruz Bible Church, Mt. Hermon Conference Center and Twin Lakes Church. All regular season games will take place on Sunday afternoons, with some playoff games on weekdays. All players will receive high quality reversible jerseys and promotional samples from sponsors.

“Going into our second season, we are excited about growing and improving the league this Spring,” said Matt Meisner, Director of Basketball Operations for Faith Hoops Adult Leagues. Registration for the spring season began on January 21st and will continue through March 6th. Faith Hoops will be working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz to help find matches in Santa Cruz County. “We are very pleased to be working with Big Brother Big Sister Santa Cruz again,” said Stacey McQueen, Faith Hoops League Coordinator & Event Manager.
