Jacksonville, FL, February 18, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “There’s Nothing Like a Brand New Home” is the theme for The Northeast Florida Builders Association’s (NEFBA) Parade of Homes 2010, scheduled for April 10-18. The weeklong event features new construction and decorator model homes in Duval, St. Johns, Nassau and Clay Counties.
A complete listing of the homes on parade will run in a special magazine insert in the April 10 edition of the Florida Times-Union, along with feature articles on some of the latest new home construction and design trends, including new green/energy-saving features. The homes will be open daily during the Parade.
In addition to touring some of the area’s most distinctive and state-of-the-art new homes, Parade visitors may register in any home on tour to win a $10,000 shopping spree at Ashley Furniture HomeStore or a $5,000 NEFBA down payment match to be used for contracting a new home during the Parade from any participating builder. Tour participants may preregister on the Parade Web site at Jacksonville.com to increase their odds of winning.
“Our theme says it all. There really is nothing like a brand new home and there’s nothing like a free Parade of Homes to showcase the amazing new construction available across the First Coast,” said Daniel Davis, executive director of NEFBA. “Thousands of people attended in 2009 and this year will be even bigger. The Parade is always a great way to showcase our builders and the opportunities they offer for owning a brand new home.”
In addition to spotlighting new construction throughout the region, the event includes free seminars on design trends, furnishing tips, green/energy-saving features and new home construction. Complete details will be available in the coming months. For more information, call (904) 725-4355 or visit www.nefba.com.
