Itzhak Schier is about to launch a new concept in discount websites, and he is turning to Facebook to get a team together and launch it successfully.
Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, February 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Itzhak Schier, the “serial cyberentrepreneur” who has created a handful of successful niche SEO and page driver sites, is setting his sights on the lucrative discount site market. Not only does his planned site add a new twist to the time honored model of deal a day and group buying sites, but he is probably the first to use social networking sites to plan, finance and assemble an operating team for his new venture.
Buy2G.com, a contraction of Buy Together, aims to assemble groups of customers who wish to buy the same or similar merchandise from one vendor so that the Buy2G team then can obtain the best price for them from their participating suppliers. Says Schier: “We want to get our customers wholesale prices and better by getting them together and making one wholesale sized purchase. This way, we move lots of merchandise for the dealer and get the best price for the consumer.”
The site, which is now in its very earliest stages, lists a link to the creator’s Facebook group, to which he has invited his own network, largely made up of his fellow Chabad-Lubavitch Chassidim and including many community entrepreneurs, as well as members of online technology and business related Facebook groups, to join. Schier is now putting together a special online version of his business plan and various listings which will state the opportunities available for investing time and effort and creativity as well as funds in the new venture.
He explains: “I got the idea when I turned to my network last week to resolve a minor financial problem caused by a local bank error. When someone from my network came forward in a few hours’ time to help me solve it, I realized the true power of social networking over and above all the fun we all have sharing personal news and information. As I am always developing new online ideas, I thought about how I could use Facebook and other social networking sites to create real value and jobs by harnessing that power to build a real business.”
Schier, who proudly states that he operates all of his businesses according to the strict code of ethics which stems from his devout Chassidic Jewish beliefs, is aware that many online opportunities have a reputation for being overhyped and appear to be “get rich quick” schemes.
