Retired Photographer Returns to Business with Published Photo Book
Author publishes first photo book with online P.O.D. publisher Lulu.
Ottawa, Canada, February 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- stores.lulu.com/store.php -- Toronto born photographer Nigel Brighton, 51, based in Ottawa, Canada, has been working with aspiring models from Ottawa and Vancouver since 1995, and has compiled images together shot over the last 15 years to recent photo shoots, and is proud to announce the release of his book Entitled "Beauty from Within." Although he had many options of publishing, he chose to publish his book with Lulu.com, the online marketplace for digital content.
This photographer has come out of a brief retirement after leaving the photographic business and pursuing his other career as a long haul commercial driver. With the publishing of this book, it is nice to know that this photographer has come back to work, as many models and clients were disappointed when he announced his retirement in 2003. Many were quoted as saying, "The industry has lost such a great artist and photographer." One model in particular went on to say this about him, after hearing that he was retiring, "Many models will not have the opportunity to be photographed by this great talent and style, in which his images did produce a lot of work for many aspiring models with his style and creativity." Many models have launched very good model careers , and some even went on to test and pose for Playboy, because of his talent for beauty. Many photographers have also commented on his talent for capturing natural looking images in Black and White. Mr. Brighton has been in the business a long time, and many may have heard of him through the grapevine, but until now, many have not seen his work, and what he will publish in the future.
Mr. Brighton's style varies in contrast to what is depicted in his very first book. He attributes the look and feel of the images in the book to how the models and himself interact with each other, and how they understood the creative direction. The models, at that point in time, had little or no experience at modeling, and feel the resulting images make a statement, that with simplicity, in regards to the lighting, and just a basic camera, they can yield professional results.
