Nominations Now Open For Prestigious 2007 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards
Awards Recognizing Outstanding Woman Entrepreneurs
Cary, NC, October 31, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Monica Smilely, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women has announced that the magazine is now accepting nominations for the 2007 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards until midnight on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The fifth annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards program recognizes outstanding women entrepreneurs who own businesses of all sizes in a diverse array of industries. Nominees must demonstrate that they own a thriving, fast-growth business and are leaders in their communities and outstanding mentors for other women in business. Applicants may nominate themselves or a peer by completing the online nomination form available at www.enterprisingwomen.com.
Winners and finalists will be notified in December 2006. The 2007 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards celebration is slated for Feb. 22-24 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. A special 5th anniversary Hall of Fame luncheon will take place on Feb. 23, followed by the Enterprising Women of the Year Awards dinner that evening. In addition, each winner and finalist will be profiled in Enterprising Women magazine, and the top award winners will be featured on the magazine’s front cover in the spring of 2007.
