Delphi Kicks Off Its Annual Art Glass Festival March 27th

Lansing, MI, February 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Delphi Glass, the complete source for glass art, announces its 19th Annual Art Glass Festival beginning Sat. March 27, 2010 at the Delphi Creativity Center in Lansing. Art Glass Festival showcases the work of many glass artists from beginners to professionals in eleven different categories. Held in honor of National Art Glass Month in April, more than 200 works of glass art will be on display during the month-long celebration.

Delphi’s Art Glass Festival offers a competitive art contest and awards thousands of dollars worth of merchandise to its winners. There also are prizes awarded to the most promising beginner in each craft and recognition for all young artists. Delphi will begin accepting entries March 1. The festival opens to the public Sat. For those who cannot make it to Michigan this spring, Delphi also holds an online art glass competition. All skill levels are invited to participate and thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be given to top winners. Last year there were more than 1200 participants. Entries came from as far away as Australia, the Middle East and South America.
