Pepper Announces New Regional Marketing Manager
Ryan Blauvelt assumes expanded role with company in Dublin location.
Dublin, CA, February 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ryan Blauvelt has accepted a new position as J.W. Pepper's Regional Marketing Manager for the location in Dublin, CA. Blauvelt, formerly the assistant manager at that location, assumed his new responsibilities on Monday, February 15th. The previous manager, Scott Grady, has returned to Pennsylvania to accept a new position at the company's national headquarters.
Blauvelt started at Pepper in October of 2007. He brings experience of a varied music background which includes being a stage hand for various productions at the New England Conservatory of Music and performing as a drummer with bands. He brings to his new position a desire to connect with customers of all ages through music, especially young people. He hopes to highlight Pepper's technological approach to serving customers with social networking. Blauvelt further notes he and his staff will develop in-store displays to create seasonal and musically appropriate themes useful to music directors, classroom music teachers and musicians alike.
Blauvelt received his Bachelor's degree in Percussion Performance from Long Beach State University in Southern California before heading east. He returned to the Lake Tahoe area and performed with several bands before moving to the Bay Area. Currently, he performs with a rock cover band as well as with the Ohlone College Wind Orchestra. He also teaches private drum lessons.
