BankInfoSecurity.com Announces Phishing Trends Webinar

This workshop will focus on phishing trends that have emerged over 2005 and 2006 and discuss new threats to financial institutions to be aware of in 2007.

Princeton, NJ, November 01, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Phishing attacks continue to be a persuasive and destructive form of online fraud in the financial industry. The very reason phishing remains so pervasive is because it is still very effective. As financial institutions enhance their level of online protection, and as consumers become more aware of phishing, new and more sophisticated online fraud techniques will begin to take hold like Trojans, pharming, and man-in-the-middle attacks.

Attendees will hear the details from the Special Report from the RSA Anti-Fraud Command Center (AFCC). A retrospective look at 2005 and 2006 will be used, in order to identify trends that pinpoint both evolving and emerging threats online. Attendees will learn how to protect their customers, their institution’s brand, and the integrity of the online channel in 2007 and beyond.

This webinar will be presented by Jens Hinrichsen. Jens Hinrichsen is the Senior Product Marketing Manager in the Consumer Solutions Business Unit at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, and is responsible for the RSA FraudAction anti-phishing and anti-fraud service which composes a key part of the broad portfolio of products and services designed to bolster security and confidence in the online channel by protecting organizations, their brands, and their customers against fraud and the latest online threats.

Prior to joining RSA, acquired by EMC Corporation in 2006, Mr. Hinrichsen worked for nine years in a variety of marketing and business development roles at Eastman Kodak. He holds a B.A. from St. Olaf College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.
