Lime Fresh Mexican Grill® Freshens Up Downtown Miami
The Fast Casual Mexican Brand Launches its Seventh South Florida Location
Miami, FL, February 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Homegrown brand Lime Fresh Mexican Grill®, which has attracted cult-like followings in some of South Florida’s hottest areas, is now stretching its reach to include Downtown Miami.
This newest Lime restaurant, located at 7 West Flagler Street, is slated to open in April/May 2010, and will be the brand’s seventh South Florida location. Tony Arellano the Commercial Sales Director of Metro 1 Properties represented the tenant, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, on this extensive re-develop to suit location in Downtown Miami’s Central Business District.
“Downtown Miami is pulsating with constant movement, the daytime business rush gives way to a burgeoning nightlife,” said Lime Fresh Mexican Grill's® Founder/CEO John Kunkel. “Given Lime’s inexhaustible energy and universal appeal, we feel it will be a great fit for such a diverse area.”
Currently in accelerated growth mode – and with no plans of slowing – Lime now has locations in South Beach, North Miami Beach, Pembroke Pines, Coconut Creek and Midtown Miami. Lime's sixth location will open in Downtown Dadeland shortly before the grand opening of Downtown Miami.
“Lime Fresh Mexican Grill’s ® new location in the Central Business District of Downtown Miami is an example of the up-tenanting and re-merchandising of Flagler Avenue, “said Tony Arellano the Commercial Sales Director of Metro 1 Properties. “With more people living in the core of Miami and a healthy workforce population we truly see the potential for our cities urban core”
About Lime Fresh Mexican Grill®
Originally launched in 2004, Kunkel devised the concept to compliment the vibrant and food-conscious culture of South Beach. Lime quickly became a local epicenter with a constant line snaking down the block. Throughout its strategic expansion – four additional South Florida stores are slated to open this year – the brand has preserved its neighborhood appeal: long-term staffs who remember regulars and welcome newcomers, fresh produce delivered daily from local markets, and meats charbroiled on grills in an exhibition-style kitchen. Guests have the option of whole wheat, multi-grain or low-carb items. In addition to its assortment of popular, innovative dishes, Lime is best known for its 50 variations of hot sauces and its signature homemade salsa bar. As a way to “get fresh” while staying green, all locations maintain the lowest amount of food needed every day to eliminate waste.
