Solutions Insights Sponsors Global Case Study Competition at the Hult International Business School

Boston, MA, February 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In March of 2010, Hult International Business School will bring together over 300 of the world's best and brightest young MBA students to develop an innovative "solution" for the One Child per Laptop (OLPC) project. OLPC is a non-profit organization within the Multimedia Center at MIT that has designed an economic and highly customized laptop computer that is technologically appropriate for students in virtually every country in the world. Since the technology and the entire business model is untested and innovative, OLPC is looking for new solutions to finance, distribute, market and sell its computers. Participating students will represent MBA programs at schools such as Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, the London Business School, INSEAD, MIT, and other leading institutions. The competition will give the students a platform to showcase their skills leveraging OLPC’s leading edge technologies to develop human impact solutions.

Steve Hurley, the Managing Director of Solutions Insights, Inc. and the Professor for Solutions Marketing at Hult International Business School, has agreed to provide programming guidance and support to the students in the Hult Consulting Club, which is responsible for implementing the case study competition.

In addition to the Hult International Business School, and Solutions Insights, Talentcastr.com will also be a major sponsor of the event. Talentcastr.com provides video enabled recruiting and matchmaking services to innovative employers, universities, graduate programs and professional associations. The competition will be simultaneously conducted in four separate locations -- Boston, London, Shanghai and Dubai. At each location, teams of students from the world’s top universities and graduate programs will develop and present innovative solutions to a business case that is of strategic relevance to OLPC’s mission of empowering the children of developing countries to learn by providing one connected laptop to every school-age child.
