Collectors Flock to Manage Their Collections and Swap Lists on Colnect

Tel Aviv, Israel, February 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For instance, Colnect received over 5,000 visits on February 22, whereas roughly one month earlier 4,000 daily visits was setting the record for the site. Colnect founder Amir Wald was ecstatic when informed about these developments. "This indicates a phenominal growth rate and should bode well for our goal of developing an extensive collectors community touching every corner of the globe," Mr. Wald opined. He also declared that the "number of new collectors has smashed all previous records", as 48 new members signed up on February 22 alone while 258 registered for that entire week (both records Mr. Wald hopes to see broken soon).

Colnect attributed its strong progress to the recent overhaul of the entire site's layout to make it more user-friendly, attractive, and easier to navigate. These changes received almost unanimous positive feedback from long-term Colnect members and new collectors alike, who have apparently responded by using the site more frequently than before. Mr. Wald also credited Colnect's volunteer translators and their manager, Ben Ulster, who have translated pages from the site into 47 languages. "These translations are an extremely important long-term project that should one day allow collectors from anywhere in the world to use Colnect in their native tongue," Mr. Wald declared.
