Advantage Announces the Release of New Billing Command Center; Features for Direct Marketers

The Billing Command Center consolidates activity, adds automation features, and streamlines client billing operations in the Advantage Enterprise Software Suite.

Mooresville, NC, February 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Advantage Software Company announced the latest release of its enterprise-level agency management application which delivers efficiency and consolidation of processes across all departments of advertising and communications firms and in-house marketing departments.

The new release (Advantage v6.10/Webvantage 3.10) underscore’s Advantage's commitment to driving efficiencies for its customers by introducing the first phase of the Billing Command Center. The new design improves the billing process from start to finish but also enables users to perform typically time-consuming tasks in a fraction of the time. Actions such as income recognition based on percent complete, various methods of reconciliation, job hold, process control updates and job closing are handled in volume from the unique control panel.

“As our clients transform and reinvent themselves to meet the challenges of the industry, they are relying more than ever on automation software to optimize processes and drive efficiency” added President Ellen Coulter. “The Billing Command Center connects departments and streamlines billing from the approval process to formatting and sending the billing in the customer’s requested format.”

New Expense Reports, Employee Signatures for Electronic Documents

In addition to the Billing Command Center, this new version offers many other enhancements, including the ability to send signed forms to vendors and clients with a single click using electronic signature features. Expense reports are easier than ever to complete with enhanced views, the ability to attach receipts and automated supervisor approval. Dashboard features have been streamlined as well, and include more search, print and export options. Numerous Project Management enhancements have also been added that improve the way all types of projects are managed.

New Features for Direct and Digital Marketing Customers

To facilitate the buying, managing, and tracking of newspaper inserts, FSIs, package inserts and digital media, the latest release includes enhancements in the media system designed specifically to better support these functions. The entire process from ordering to billing and reconciliation is easily optimized and provides details needed for client reporting and analysis.

“While expenditures on traditional media like television decreased in 2009, industry expenditures on direct and digital advertising increased,” said Coulter, “Our customers are using different technologies to reach consumers involved with different media. The enhancements to the system enable them to be more efficient in managing and tracking these types of media.”
