Catholic Digest Donation Supports the Archdiocese for Military Services
$3,000.00 donation is a part of Catholic Digest's Adopt Troops and Families subscription program
New London, CT, February 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Catholic Digest recently made a donation of $3000 to the Archdiocese for the Military Services. This is part of Catholic Digest's Adopt Troops and Families subscription program, which helps bring spiritual comfort and support to our military troops and their families. Three dollars of each program subscription directly supports the work of the Archdiocese for Military Services.
Upon receipt of the Catholic Digest donation, Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, Archbishop for the Military Services, wrote, "Reflecting the military's stance of 'Leave no man behind,' I am committed to 'Leave no Catholic behind.'...The Archdiocese for the Military Services receives no government financial support and relies solely on free-will donations from people who are friends of the Church and military to implement and sustain their programs and services....Thank you for doing your part to help Catholics in the military and veterans who have served the nation with distinction."
To participate in this program and help Catholic Digest continue our mission of providing copies and subscriptions to Catholic Digest to our soldiers, please consider making a donation. You can send your donation to: Catholic Digest Adopt Troops and Families, P.O. Box 6015, New London, CT 06320. Please provide the name and address of the soldier or family that you would like to receive the subscription.
