Boating Safety Classes with United States Power Squadrons & US Coast Guard Auxiliary to promote safe boating practices
Taking advantage of their proximity to Chicago, Rockford and Milwaukee, several Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin boat dealers have banded together to create the Northern Illinois Boat Show to be held March 4-7 at the New Lake County Fairgrounds Exposition Center in Grayslake, IL.
United States Power Squadrons, and US Coast Guard Auxiliary will feature boat safety techniques using literature and demonstration classes at the Northern Illinois Boat Show for boaters. With families spending more time together with “staycations” boating is becoming a popular way to get away without going too far.
And because growing numbers of new people are becoming recreational boaters, show managers Craig Munson and Warren Moulis feel that the Boat Show will be a great venue to promote boat safety. These safety courses will remind seasonal boaters to remain vigilant about safety while out on the water.
The Northern Illinois Boat Show will feature local boat dealers, as well as apparel and accessories merchants. The show is built to offer special pricing on new and used small, midsize and luxury boats just in time for boat season to begin on the Midwestern Lakes this summer.
In addition, all adults aged 18 and older will have the opportunity to “Roll to Win” a new Boat, Truck, and Trailer package worth $50,000. The Finals will take place on Sunday March 7th. Certain restrictions will apply.
