Greater Media’s Legendary WMMR-FM Grabs Two Marconi Award Nominations
Philadelphia, PA, July 26, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Greater Media, Inc. is pleased to announce WMMR-FM in Philadelphia has been nominated as a finalist in the “Legendary Station of the Year” and “Rock Station of the Year” categories in conjunction with the 2005 Marconi Awards.
Named after radio inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the awards are presented on an annual basis by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) for excellence in radio in 22 categories.

WMMR over the past 37 years has been blessed by so many wonderful personalities who contributed to that and also helped shape rock radio for years to come.”
