Little Keeper Sleeper New Product Styles Have Arrived

Miraquad Corp., home of the Little Keeper Sleeper is happy to announce they recently expanded their line of zippered back “sanity saving” toddler sleepers.

Algonquin, IL, February 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Miraquad Corp. is family owned company, which has been in business for a year developed the sleeper as a safe, secure, and smart way to prevent children from removing their sleepers and diapers. This product was developed out of sheer desperation by Mike and Kris Steinberg, co-owners of Miraquad Corp. They have triplets who went through the stage of taking off their sleepers & diapers at nighttime and naptime. “We wanted a solution to this problem right away! We searched the stores and internet and found no solution that we felt was safe for our children. So we became determined to create a product for other parents in the same situation with their kids,” Kris stated.

The couple originally designed the sleeper with just the zipper and a single snap in the back, thinking, “How easy, we’re done!” Then the toddlers that tested the product got out of it by undoing the simple snap and stretching the neck of the garment enough to escape from the sleeper. That’s when the idea came to them to include a neck that doesn’t stretch. “Having the zipper on the back of the garment is essential, but not enough to stop persistent toddlers!” said Mike. The garment features a non-stretchable neck and two snap closure systems; one that covers the zipper and one that completely prevents the zipper from being pulled down by the child. This makes removal extremely difficult for children, yet easy for caregivers to get on and off. Made with soft 100% cotton interlock, it’s comfortable and can be worn by both boys and girls. “Although our original target group was toddlers, we soon discovered that these sleepers are also incredibly helpful to parents who have children with special needs such as Autism or Down Syndrome. As a result of requests from this group of parents, we expanded our sizes from 18- 24 months all the way to 5T,” said Steinberg.

After overwhelming demand for these “zip back pajamas” and high praise from its customers, Miraquad Corp. decided to expand its line. The original version of the Little Keeper Sleeper is available with long sleeves and long pants, and the new line now has sleepers with footies and sleepers with short sleeves. “Every time we receive a heartfelt ‘thank you” from a customer, we feel great knowing that we helped another parent, and that’s what our goal is,” Mike commented.
