The Will-Excel TESOL Institute held its first bi-annual TESOL Diploma graduation ceremony at the Red Horse Restaurant in Harbin, China this week. The Institute awarded TESOL certificates and diplomas to 35 teachers from seven different countries.
Harbin, China, March 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Will-Excel TESOL Institute celebrated its February 2010 graduation ceremony this past Monday. The Institute awarded TESOL certificates and diplomas to 35 teachers.
TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. All teachers in China are required to have attended and successfully completed a TESOL certification course before they are allowed to work.
Will-Excel TESOL holds graduation ceremonies in February and August each year. These formal ceremonies commemorate all of the teachers who participated in their program over the past six months. Graduates in this year’s February 2010 program completed their TESOL courses in August, November and February.
“We’re very excited for our graduates, many of whom have just completed their six-month teaching term,” said Kyle David, Dean of Studies for Will-Excel TESOL. “After our teachers complete the four-week TESOL training course in Harbin, they go on to teach at schools throughout all of China. The graduation ceremony is a great time to catch up with them and hear about their recent experiences.”
