New Huntington CLIX brings Fun, Friendly and Hip Attitude to Long Island
Huntington, NY, November 02, 2006 --(PR.com)-- A local Plainview, N.Y., couple will bring a new revolutionary photography franchise to Huntington, N.Y., the first of its kind on Long Island. Tracy and Robert Gorman opened their CLIX Portrait Studio on November 1, 2006. The CLIX store opened in Sipala Plaza on Route 110.
The Gorman’s had been looking for the perfect franchise opportunity to grow in their local community. After researching prospective franchises they came across CLIX on the internet. Tracy and Robert were immediately drawn to CLIX’s energy and commitment to customer satisfaction and the community.
“CLIX is different from all other franchises out there. The CLIX team is like a family and they take the time to make you feel like you are a part of that family,” said Robert Gorman. “CLIX is not only in the business of taking wonderful pictures – they want to help us build lasting relationships with our customers and members of the community.”
First established in 1999, CLIX makes picture-taking exciting while providing high-quality, professional portraits customers can take home the same day. The studio is fun, friendly, hip and now, providing customers in-store portrait photography, special event photography and on-site, do-it-yourself and assisted photo imaging and design centers, which include digital scrapbooking and one hour digital photo production.
“We hope to give the people of Long Island an enjoyable place to preserve memories,” said Tracy Gorman. “At CLIX we put the fun back into the portrait photography industry, providing commendable service, a friendly environment and creative portraits of everything from daycares and sports teams to senior pictures and family portraits. We want every customer to feel like they are important the minute they walk through the door.”
Before becoming the first Long Island CLIX franchisees, Tracy previously was a retail manager and most recently ran a photo/video studio and was stay at home mom for their two children, Joshua (4) and Emma (2). Robert is currently a field technician for an environmental company on Long Island. Tracy and Robert are planning to open five Long Island CLIX in the next seven years.
