The National Association of GBLT in Israel Announce the North American Public Awareness and Social Networking Tour
Mike Hamel, chairperson of the Aguda and authority on the human and social rights of the GLBT community in Israel will be touring North America, accompanied by youths who were involved with the horrible shooting that took place in the Gay Youth Center in Tel Aviv, August 1, 2009. These events are to showcase the GLBT movement in Israel and their accomplishments and the future.
Tel Aviv, Israel, March 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Mike Hamel the Chairperson of the Aguda, since 2004, is considered the leading expert on GLBT issues in Israel and has been involved in social reform and the protection of human rights for his entire life will be visiting the United States and Canada in March 2010.
Mike will be accompanied by Chen Langer, a young volunteer with the Aguda youth program who was shot during the recent tragedy and Chen Katz, who along with her brother Nir were also volunteer Counselors at the Youth Program and Nir was killed in the shooting.
The Social Networking Tour will begin in New York City and include the following cities, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Ft Lauderdale.
