PlattForm Wins Web Marketing Association Award
Olathe, KS, November 03, 2006 --(PR.com)-- For the second time this year, PlattForm was recognized for a user-friendly web site it created for Pinnacle Career Institute (PCI). The site, www.pcitraining.edu, was recently awarded the Advertising Standard of Excellence and the Education Standard of Excellence WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association.
The awards are based on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. The site scored top marks for content and ease of use for the education and advertising competition categories.
Judges said the site was “very well designed and is very clean and straightforward.” They also cited the navigation and use of Flash elements as other strengths of the site.
“Building this site was definitely a challenge,” said Craig Juneau, the PlattForm Web Designer who created the site. “We had to incorporate a large amount of information into an engaging and user-friendly format.”
The lessons learned working on the award-winning site are ones the PlattForm team plans to put to use when developing new client sites as well as refining existing sites.
"Designing this Web site changed our team outlook about how design, usability and search engine optimization can go hand-in-hand," Juneau said. "We're utilizing this approach to continually deliver the results our clients need."
In addition to the Web Award, the PCI site also earned a bronze Horizon Interactive Award for its creative concept, artistic excellence and technical execution.
