Enerwise Reaches 1500MW Milestone
Kennett Square, PA, November 04, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Enerwise Global Technologies, a leader in demand response management and energy services, today announced the company, and its subsidiaries, now administer a total of 1500 Megawatts (MW) of demand response and renewable facilities throughout the United States.
Enerwise’s energy infrastructure management solutions allow partners to reduce energy costs, comply with increasingly demanding environmental regulations, take advantage of alternative power initiatives, increase operational security and improve reliability. The 1500MW includes 600MW of demand response load, where Enerwise provides solutions for their C&I customers to address regulatory, operational, metering, monitoring, and notification requirements of demand response programs, saving customers money and earning them significant financial incentives.
Enerwise subsidiary Clean Power Markets administers renewable energy programs for approximately 900MW of renewable supply, including hydro, biomass, wind, solar and fuel cell resources. These resources are located predominately in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Wisconsin. Enerwise acquired California-based Clean Power Markets last month, adding renewable energy expertise to the suite of products and services Enerwise now offers its customers.
“Reaching 1500MW is a major milestone for Enerwise and highlights the aggressive growth we have achieved over the past year, both in our demand response business and through our acquisition of Clean Power Markets,” said Dean Musser, president and CEO of Enerwise. “Reaching this milestone further validates our business model by providing energy infrastructure management solutions to the entire market and we look forward to continued growth in the coming months.”
Musser added, “We are unique in that we now offer access to competitive wholesale programs through Regional Transmission Organizations as well as state administered Renewable Energy markets. We believe that customer accessibility to these two markets is critical for more substantial energy reduction and savings. As these two markets continue to converge, our customers will be well prepared to take advantage of their combined benefits.”
Enerwise is headquartered in suburban Philadelphia with offices in Los Altos, California, Roanoke, Virginia and their newest location in suburban Washington, DC.
