Maryland Chapter of NAWW Launches It's Website

Fort Washington, MD, November 04, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Regional Representative of the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Women Writers (NAWW), is calling women writers from MD, DC, and VA to join their group for the second meeting of the Chapter. The newly formed Maryland Chapter is one of the more than 13 chapters, nationwide and the only one in the state of Maryland.

Website Launched
We are excited! The Maryland Chapter of NAWW is pleased to announce the launch of its website at www.MDnaww.org. The site contains many links, some that connect to the NAWW site. This makes it easy for members to find local information pertaining to the Maryland network, as well as connect to the national site to keep up with the latest happenings.

NAWW - History
The National Association of Women Writers founded by Sheri` McConnell in 2001 was established to build a growing support network and help provide assistance to women writers of all genres. McConnell states “The NAWW is an organization for all women writers to come together and share knowledge and experience as well as motivate, inspire, encourage and give endless support to one another.”

Second Meeting Announcement
Their second meeting is scheduled for Thrusday, November 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Coffee and Conversations coffee shop in the Potomac Village Shopping Center in Fort Washington, Maryland -- and every third Thursday each month. Local response is favorable and growing.

Subsequent monthly meetings will be scheduled for the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
