SmartShop's solution is based on a customer user interface where the customer via a touch screen selects the type of goods he wants to buy. He then pays the sales sum at checkout and can then pick up the products at the machine placed nearby. The communication between the merchant's server, the cash registers and machines are at many installations run by radio modems supplied by Induo.
