Apollo Opens RV Factory in NZ

Brisbane, Australia, March 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Apollo Group CEO Luke Trouchet said “I am delighted to reveal the expansion of our hugely successful manufacturing division. Our Brisbane factory has grown to become one of Australia’s largest motorhome manufacturer, and doubtless our New Zealand project will do equally well.”

“The new factory will supply our custom designed rental campervans direct to our highly successful Auckland and Christchurch Apollo branches. Talvor’s reputation for building strong, durable and award winning motorhomes and campervans has made it the first choice for not only our own rental business, but for other rental and retail operators,” he said.

Apollo achieved a 50% increase in recreational vehicle production in 2009 from its Brisbane factory, and launched four new vehicle types including the Talvor Pinnacle, a 6 berth motorhome built specifically for the Australian and New Zealand rental markets.

As the world's largest privately owned recreational vehicle operator, Apollo operates 23 rental branches in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. The motorhome, campervan and car rental business has developed several brands to service all markets and established manufacturing arm Talvor Motorhomes in 2005.
