comCables Sponsoring “The Here’s Life Inner City Wine Tasting & Silent Auction”
Denver, CO, March 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Denver-based comCables today announced they are sponsoring the Here’s Life Inner City (HLIC) Wine Tasting & Silent Auction Benefit for the 6th consecutive year. The HLIC Wine Tasting Benefit will be held at the Adirondack Room located inside the Tivoli in Denver from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
Here’s Life Inner City Denver, part of a national chain of inner-city programs, is a Colorado non-profit organization that assists urban churches to reach the poorest neighborhoods in Denver. The organization provides a positive resource for the young adults in these challenged areas that helps to keep them out of gangs and violence and keep them in school and learning programs.
“There is hope for Denver’s inner-city kids who face tough situations,” says Salt Wall, founder of Here’s Life Inner City Denver. “We can make a difference one life, one family at a time.”
This event has been a major fundraiser for HLIC, which has struggled financially due to a decrease in donations during the recent economic downturn. comCables has been a major financial contributor to HLIC for nearly a decade. In addition to financial resources, comCables has provided mentoring and tutoring to many of the young adults involved in the HLIC program.
“Because of the current state of the economy, we believe programs, such as Here’s Life Inner City, need corporate support,” continues Greg Greenwood, CEO of comCables. “Which is important to our commitment of giving back to the community, and it is rewarding to all of us at comCables.”
Tickets, which are $50 per person or $95 per couple, are available through the following links:
