7th Annual Maryland Charter School Conference
Baltimore, MD, March 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The 7th Annual Maryland Charter School Conference will be held on Friday, April 30th, 2010 at the Holiday Inn-BWI Airport, (890 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland). This conference is an occasion to celebrate charter school achievements, to share best practices and to network. It is an invaluable professional development and networking opportunity for charter school leaders, teachers, developers and advocates. Since 2003 this has been a highlight of the year for the charter school community.
The Conference provides opportunities for Maryland charter schools to share ideas and inspire one another. Fifteen 90 minute workshops are being offered in three main strands: Increasing Student Achievement; Improving Charter Operations and Governance; and Developing New Charter Schools. Vendor workshops will be provided by Rowland Reading, and RAFFA, P.C.
Special achievements of charter school administrators, educators, staff and school communities will be celebrated at an awards luncheon.
