Florida Million Poker Tournament Takes Over The Big Easy Poker Room

Hallandale Beach, FL, March 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “The first Florida Million ‘Day One’ event at The Big Easy Poker Room was an incredible success,” said Wil Herrera Director of Poker Operations at Mardi Gras Casino’s Big Easy Poker Room. “It was the first sold out field for any ‘Day One’ event in the entire state and 15 players advanced to ‘Day Two’ at Derby Lane. Unfortunately, we had to turn away a few players on March 7th, but many pre-registered for the March 14th event. Response was so overwhelming that we have added a third ‘Day One’ event on Sunday, March 21st, giving South Floridians another chance at this unprecedented opportunity at a half a million dollar prize pool. The Florida Million Poker Tournament is opening the door to a new more vibrant tournament schedule at the Big Easy Poker Room.”

Florida Million Poker Tournament is a unique tournament that will feature the largest overall player pool and the largest prize pool that Florida poker players have ever experienced. The Big Easy Poker Room is the only Miami-Dade/Broward location for “Day One” events (150 players each) set for Sunday, March 7, 14, and 21, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. The top 10% of each “Day One” event will advance to the finals scheduled for April 10, 2010 at the inaugural host location, Derby Lane in St. Petersburg.
