The British Invasion Returns at Microsoft Convergence 2010 in Atlanta
On Sunday, April 25, 2010 the acclaimed Beatles tribute band called The Return will headline at THE spOt, the perennial “hot spot” party for Microsoft Convergence attendees. This year's event is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Atlanta, GA, March 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Nearly 50 years ago, 4 young lads from across the pond revolutionized the world with the sounds of British Rock n’ Roll. By the time The Beatles hit the American radio airwaves and then performed on the Ed Sullivan Show, a full-on invasion was underway.
Now, another invasion of sorts is on tap to coincide with the annual Microsoft event called Convergence 2010 to be held this year in Atlanta, GA.
On Sunday, April 25, 2010 the acclaimed Beatles tribute band called The Return will headline at THE spOt, the perennial “hot spot” party for Microsoft Dynamics Partners and Customers held each year at Convergence.
“Without a doubt, Microsoft Convergence is the primary event where we look forward to face-to-face interaction with our Partners and our Customers in one place”, said John Stulak, President and Co-Founder of EthoTech, Inc. and one of the co-Sponsors of THE spOt 2010. “But THE spOt allows us a chance to let our hair down a bit…have some fun…and really get a chance to deepen our relationships with our Partners and Customers.”
“It’s also an opportunity to give back to the community we care so much about. It’s great to see everyone having such a good time. And the Beatles theme this year is just awesome, because everyone is going to just love The Return.”
The Return has performed live throughout the U.S., including on Good Morning America and at The Hard Rock Café, faithfully reproducing the music, the costumes, and the 1960’s ambience.
The Tabernacle in Atlanta will be site of the event, an historic 1911 Baptist Church converted to The House of Blues for the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta. Conveniently, it’s 150 steps away from the Georgia World Congress Center, the site of Microsoft Convergence.
As always for THE spOt parties, food and drink, music and dancing, prizes and giveaways will all be in store for the attendees, courtesy of the event sponsors. “I would have to say that going to THE spOt party each year” said Jesse Byam, Partner at Etelligent Solutions, Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, “is definitely the highlight of my Convergence experience.”
Convergence attendees may RSVP in advance for THE spot 2010 at www.thespot2010.com
