Lifetree Adventures Announces Costa Rica Mission Trip

For anyone willing to work hard and learn the tools of the trade, this Lifetree Adventure promises to be rewarding, tiring and fulfilling.

Littleton, CO, March 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A poor Costa Rican child can roam the streets of his city with very little hope for the future. He’s missed out on school. He has never seen a doctor. And his parents, like many Costa Ricans, are slipping through the cracks in the country’s burgeoning economy. The merciless cycle of poverty seems insurmountable.

That’s why this Lifetree Adventure is focused on construction and repair work at a Christian school. The facility serves hundreds of at-risk children in the area. Poverty, physical illness and mental health problems, compounded by the lack of formal education, have prevented these kids from escaping the destructive cycles in which they find themselves. But through the work of the school, these young people are finding reason to hope. They are gaining the resources to move beyond their conditions. You and your group can be part of this powerful response, bringing hope and encouragement where despair has ruled for so long.

Having construction experience is a plus, but it is not mandatory for this mission trip to Costa Rica. For anyone willing to work hard and learn the tools of the trade, this Lifetree Adventure promises to be rewarding, tiring and fulfilling. The sense of accomplishment as you leave the newly improved facilities for the children of Costa Rica is like no other feeling in the world. You’ll return home with a whole new definition of what it means to serve the people in your life.
