Automated Valet’s New Ticket Inventory System Protects Revenue, Prevents Fraud

Automated Valet offers valet operators a fast, safe and accurate ticket inventory system that can be installed with Automated Valet’s operating system, AVPM. The Ticket Inventory System provides complete recording and reporting of ticket activity and applies security measures that benefit the customer and the operator.

Plantation, FL, March 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Another great technology from Automated Valet offers valet operators a fast, safe and accurate ticket inventory system that can be installed with Automated Valet’s operating system, AVPM. The Ticket Inventory System provides complete recording and reporting of ticket activity and applies security measures that benefit the customer and the operator.

The system will keep track of every ticket issued. No matter how light or heavy the traffic, the system will report how many tickets are out, how many have been processed for the day, and how many are available to incoming parkers. At all times, the system will report how many keys should be at dispatch. At the beginning of each week, month or year, depending on the operator’s choice, the ticket inventory system will be set with a starting and ending number. Tickets out of inventory will not be accepted.

On entry, the system will reject any ticket that has already been closed or is not from the operator’s inventory. The bar-coded tickets cannot be reused, reissued or duplicated. If the system detects a ticket that is invalid for any reason the gates will not give access to the vehicle, and employees will be alerted to address the issue.

At exit, the system provides security by matching the ticket code with a confirmed request for the vehicle. If the vehicle request is not valid, the car will not be released. Or if the ticket is found to be unacceptable, the vehicle will be held at the gate.

The system also protects revenue by confirming that every ticket issued has been collected and every ticket returned to the system is valid. The risk of fraud is very limited and employee performance reports are much more accurate.

The system even keeps track of tickets in inventory and offers a “low ticket” warning and immediate reorder command.

Automated Valet Founder and CEO Ken Gulec says ticket inventory can make or break a valet operation and this new application solves all the issues that operators face.

“Tickets are little things – but little things really add up,” he says. “This system gives operators the tools to protect their revenue increase and create accurate reports.”
