Heritage Packaging Expands Production with Latest Technology
Heritage Packaging expands business
Victor, NY, March 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- What do your local supermarket, the C-130 military transport plane, and frozen medical specimens all have in common? The answer is Heritage Packaging in Victor, NY.
Heritage Packaging’s full range of barrier and packaging products help keep food fresh from the supermarket to the dinner table, protect airplane engines during maintenance, and securely ship hazardous medical substances. Now, thanks to the addition of two, state-of-the-art bag and pouch manufacturing machines, Heritage Packaging is equipped to meet the needs of even more local, national and worldwide customers.
The new machines, the Ro-An-24 and Prototech-36, give Heritage Packaging the ability to quickly produce both large and small-runs of bags or pouches for a diverse array of industrial, commercial and military applications. Their capabilities include three-sided, shaped seal, re-closable zipper and spout attachment pouches; pet food, chemical and high barrier packaging pouches; and specially equipped pouches designed for medical applications. This upgrade has also increased Heritage Packaging’s ability to maintain tight tolerances, while at the same time increasing production rates to an average of more than 100 pouches per minute.
Before the addition of these servo-driven machines, Heritage Packaging was limited to producing flat pouches and bags, which served their customers well, but constricted their overall capabilities. Today, they are limited only by their customer’s imagination. The new machines can produce flat Mil-Spec and commercial pouches, along with stand up, side gusset, or contour-sealed die cut pouches.
They operate these precision machines, and a multitude of other packaging machinery, in their 52,000 square foot, climate controlled, clean production and storage space in Victor, NY. All Heritage Packaging products undergo rigorous quality assurance testing that includes tensile testing for seal and/or material strength, leak testing, pressure decay testing, and burst strength testing. These measures ensure all Heritage Packaging products consistently meet the highest standards of excellence.
Heritage Packaging is an American family-owned and operated business, with over 20 years of experience in the packaging industry. Using skilled engineers, and the latest in fabrication equipment, they convert flexible materials into innovative packaging solutions for customers worldwide. Their award winning services protect assets and products from undesirable elements such as rust, corrosion, temperature extremes and electro-static discharge. Heritage Packaging’s cost-effective methods and dedication to customer satisfaction make them a leading manufacturer of high-quality, protective packaging systems.
