The Anamaya Boutique Hotel in Costa Rica is celebrating spring through a yoga retreat in April. The focus will be on the health of the mind, body & spirit as well as reveling in the natural beauty of Costa Rica. The retreat runs from April 10 - 17, 2010 and includes Anusara-Inspired yoga, organic meals and spa services.
Montezuma, Costa Rica, March 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Newly opened Anamaya Boutique Hotel and Health Resort welcomes spring through the practice of Yoga. Shri is apparently one of the most popular Hindi symbols used. It stands for beauty, luster, abundance, splendor, light and loveliness. Beauty attracts beauty and reminds us that we are all connected to each other and to everything in nature. Find the beauty in life and celebrate it – that is shri. Spring is a time where shri is present in everything that we see as well as how we feel, especially if you are coming out the other side of a long cold winter. The Yoga Retreat this April at Anamaya Resort in Montezuma, Costa Rica is dedicated to spring and to shri.
At the Anamaya Resort in Costa Rica “Health” is part of their philosophy. Anamaya focuses on the health of the Mind, Body & Spirit of their customers as well as on the health of the planet. The resort offers gourmet organic food, spa services, retreat packages, and workshops all in accordance with a healthy lifestyle. Practicing Yoga is a part of Anamaya’s health regime and has a Yoga Retreat from April 10 – 17th, 2010 that celebrates spring in all its glory.
Anamaya’s Spring Yoga Retreat will be lead by Daniella Cotreau CMT, RYT, BA who teaches Anusara Inspired Yoga. Anusara Yoga is a form of hatha yoga that was established by John Friend. The focus is on the “Universal Principles of Alignment” and the opening of the heart. Daniella uses detailed verbal cues, hands-on adjustments, and demonstrations with detailed explanations in her classes.
The Spring Retreat will focus on reveling in the natural beauty that Costa Rica has to offer. “We will glorify our yoga practice with Shri. Just like the blossoming of spring – we get to blossom too,” says Cotreau. Participants will meet twice a day for Anusara Inspired yoga sessions that will be accompanied by live musicians overlooking the most incredible ocean views in the area. The yoga deck at Anamaya has an ocean view that must be seen to be believed. There is no photograph or video footage that can create the same experience as being there.
There are a number of additional benefits included in the cost of this retreat adding value to the adventure. Price includes the yoga classes, accommodations, 3 organic meals a day and the use of the resort facilities; as well as a tour of the local Butterfly Gardens, a Canopy tour (aka Zip-Lining), entrance in the Rainsong Wildlife Sanctuary and 50% off a massage treatment. Prices start at $1495 and are based on occupancy and accommodations; however Anamaya is offering a 20% discount for sign-ups before March 15th.
While staying at Anamaya you can also take in the many adventures that the famous beach town Montezuma has to offer. Some of the many activities include surf lessons, snorkeling, horseback riding, fishing, breathtaking beaches, and shopping. Anamaya Resort is steps away from epic waterfalls, surrounded by rain forests, and is the perfect destination for a tropical getaway.
