Cary High School Students’ Art Work Honored by Cary Visual Art
Wishing Well Reception Held At WakeMed Cary Hospital
Raleigh, NC, November 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Cary Visual Art, Inc. has announced that the organization will host a Wishing Well Young Artists Reception on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. in the WakeMed Cary Hospital’s main lobby. The exhibit will feature artwork from Cary High School, which is the first high school to participate in the Wishing Well program. The program features work by school-aged children, and the exhibit is rotated every eight weeks. During each rotation a reception is held for the student artists. The receptions are an opportunity for WakeMed Cary Hospital and Cary Visual Art to honor the students for their artwork and acknowledge the impact of art on hospital patients and staff.
“We are proud to incorporate Cary High School as the first high school in the program,” said Laura Coats, executive director of Cary Visual Art. “The Wishing Well program is an important part of Cary Visual Art’s mission to place art in and around the Triangle.”
