The Band Rock Sugar Rekindles 80s Classics - "Reimaginated"

The group has already generated more than 500,000 hits on YouTube, and classic rock stations all over the country are playing many cuts from their debut CD “Reimaginator” solely generated by fan word-of-mouth. The idea for the group was divinely inspired by lead vocalist Jess Harnell – an Emmy nominee (named by “Variety” as one of the Top 10 voiceover actors) and one of L.A.’s premier studio singers -- who, while vacationing on a tropical island, brainstormed a very novel idea – what if a heavy metal band got stuck on a deserted island in 1989, and the only music they had to keep them company over the last 20 years was the 80’s pop CD collection of a 13 year old girl? Harnell’s best friend and musical partner Chuck Duran shared the vision and thus ROCK SUGAR was born. Each track on the CD includes amalgamated versions of classics you know by heart in ways you’ve never even dreamed of hearing them.
