Trinity Academy of Raleigh Student Competes in NCISAA State Championship
Raleigh, NC, March 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (www.trinityacademy.com), a preK-12 college preparatory school community located in north Raleigh, has announced that Matthew Duggins, a junior at the school, competed in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association’s 1A/2A swim meet, and won the 200 and 500 Freestyle Individual State Championship on Feb. 22. This is the second consecutive year Duggins has been named state champion for both events, and this year, he broke his own record with a time of 1:46.37 for the 200 freestyle event. The championship was held at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics, located at 11725 Verhoeff Drive in Huntersville.
