Digital Projection Sponsors CEDIA Management Conference in New Orleans

Atlanta, GA, March 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Digital Projection Inc. (DPI). Digital Projection Inc. (DPI) an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high performance projection systems, recently underlined their commitment to the custom residential electronics channel by taking a key sponsorship role at the CEDIA Management Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference, held from March 3rd through 6th at the Omni Royal Orleans in the French Quarter, brought together some of the most talented and successful custom electronics integrators, manufacturers and industry veterans. This year’s conference focused on helping integrators hone specific business management skills with tips for analyzing strategy, financial reports and company staff. All class topics were built around the highly-regarded “Mastering the Rockefeller Habits” by Verne Harnish, a www.Fortune.com business columnist.

Approximately 150 custom electronics professionals participated in the three-day conference. Organized by CEDIA, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, the Management Conference offered principals from some of the residential electronics channel’s largest integrations firms the opportunity to strengthen numerous facets of their business acumen. In-depth seminars, workshops and training sessions included topics such as business marketing and brand development, strengthening a company's financial stability and how to find the right personnel for company growth.

Given the economic constraints that many residential integrators encountered in 2009, this year’s Management Conference wove themes of efficiency and success with standardization within the core content of each class. Leslie Shiner’s “Building a Financial Future” seminar focused on the importance of assuming financial accountability for one’s company through pragmatic reporting and P&L analysis. Elf Foundation founder Doug Weinstein provided insight into how to get the right people, keep them doing the right work for their particular personality and develop them into valuable professionals. Richard Millson of Millson Multi-Media Inc. covered the importance of standardization for businesses and how a standardized plan of action allows small companies to compete with much larger competitors.

Digital Projection is proud to have sponsored this year’s conference in particular, as CEDIA’s volunteers have answered the hardships of the current economic climate by donating even more of their time to dealer training and business development. George Walter, VP of Home Cinema for Digital Projection Inc., remarked, “CEDIA is an integral part of the residential integration channel. In addition to the camaraderie that exists within the association, CEDIA dealers are assured access to continuing education and certification. Advancing one’s skill set is absolutely integral in today’s market, and CEDIA gives its dealer members an important advantage.” Walter added, “Digital Projection is proud to be a long-standing member of CEDIA, and looks forward to working on future events and initiatives that the association deems worthwhile.”

CEDIA’s 2010 Expo, the premier tradeshow for new technologies, training, and networking in the residential electronic systems industry, will take place September 22-26, 2010. Atlanta, Georgia’s World Congress Center will once again host the Expo. Digital Projection will once again highlight their extensive product line of precision projectors in a massive AV display.
