Race Horses for Sale: Blinkers On Buys and Trains New, Auctioned Thoroughbreds
Blinkers On gives its clients the opportunity to own stake in professionally trained race horses, bought from auctions across the United States from January to May of each year. As the first major auction begins this month, Blinkers On’s thoroughbred buyer and trainer, Greg Gilchrist will be purchasing new race horses for sale to add to his business’ stable of choices.
San Ramon, CA, March 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The first of 2010’s major auctions begins this month. Blinkers On’s Greg Gilchrist will be attending sales throughout the nation in order to personally inspect the pedigree, conformation and athleticism of a variety of (primarily two-year old) thoroughbreds.
Blinkers On will allow its clients to browse through new additions to their race horses for sale as this month continues. Gilchrist will select race horses for sale from the biggest sales companies in the country: OBS Sales, Fasig-Tipton and Barretts.
After completing the auction circuit, Gilchrist and Blinkers On begin a training process that gets each new horse into racing condition. These horses are then eligible for partnerships with Blinkers On’s clients. Throughout the remainder of the auction season, Blinkers On will be adding new horses for its partner’s consideration until races get underway in the spring.
Blinkers On purchases top thoroughbreds from US auctions and professionally trains them for the track. The business then offers partnerships which allow buyers to invest in the performance of a horse. Clients receive returns through purse earnings and/or revenues from a thoroughbred’s eventual sale.
