The multi-César award winning film One Deadly Summer will be making its North American DVD debut on May 11, 2010 from BayView Entertainment. Isabelle Adjani and Alain Souchon star in this acclaimed drama from director Jean Becker.

Eliane, a beautiful young woman settles into a small town in the south of France with her introverted mother and physically handicapped father. Traumatized by the knowledge that her mother was attacked by three immigrants before she was born, Eliane is bent on a trail of vengeance when she catches the attention of a young garage mechanic (Alain Souchon), whose father holds the only clue to the identity of her mother’s aggressors. But as the story unfolds in Rashomon-like flashbacks and narrations, not everything is what it seems and the tale becomes increasingly complex, leading inexorably to a stunning conclusion that’s impossible to forget.
