Ronald E. Harbison Appointed to The Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics
With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and corporate administration, Harbison currently focuses in the areas of estate and gift valuation, commercial litigation and family law.
Miami, FL, March 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ronald E. Harbison, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, ABAR, MBA, a senior manager in the Litigation Support Department of the nationally recognized public accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP (MBAF), was recently appointed to the Palm Beach County Commission on Ethics. The appointment was made by Tammy Clarke, president of the Palm Beach chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The Commission on Ethics provides training and outreach programs for county employees and officials, county vendors, and other entities that do business with Palm Beach County. Commission members also review, interpret, and render advisory opinions for other local governmental agencies.

With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting and corporate administration, Harbison currently focuses in the areas of estate and gift valuation, commercial litigation and family law. Over the course of his career, he has given counsel and testimony relating to business disputes, business valuations, damage and loss of earnings, divorce, fraud investigations and personal injury. Additionally, he has provided forensic accounting services, has consulted on mergers and acquisitions, and has served as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service, where he conducted tax examinations of corporations, partnerships and high net worth individuals.
Harbison is involved in leadership roles in a number of other professional and civic organizations, including serving as President-elect of Leadership Palm Beach County, President of the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and Accreditation Board member of The Institute of Business Appraisers. He is the 2005/2006 recipient of the Palm Beach County President’s Award for Leadership, and received the Leadership Palm Beach County Special Recognition Award in 2004.
