Charlotte Home Staging Professionals Plan Community Service Project
Charlotte International Association of Home Staging Professionals Regional Chapter (CIRC) will transform the reception area of a local shelter into a comfortable environment for patrons and their children.
Charlotte, NC, March 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Members of Charlotte's only professional organization comprised of trained home stagers will work two days to transform a reception area at a local Salvation Army shelter.
Several Accredited Staging Professionals (ASP) and Accredited Staging Professional Masters (ASPM) will labor on the project Friday and Saturday March 26-27, 2010. All are members of Charlotte International Association of Home Staging Professionals Regional Chapter (CIRC).
The group will provide cleaning, paint, furniture, and supplies to refurbish the reception room and create a childrens area at Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte Center of Hope Womens and Childrens Shelter at 534 Spratt St., Charlotte, NC 28206.
Chapter members also collected diapers, wipes, baby formula, shampoo and soaps to contribute to the shelter.
Center of Hope is a 36,000-square-foot facility with 204 beds. It is frequently "home" to 300 women and children, and is the largest womens and childrens homeless shelter in the Southeast. The shelter provides healthcare and substance abuse treatment, childcare, transportation, a library and computer lab, and other resources aimed at breaking the cycle of homelessness.
More information about Center of Hope can be found at www.salvationarmycharlotte.org or by calling (704) 348-2560.
Charlotte IAHSP (CIRC), founded in 2006, is an award-winning chapter of trained, dedicated professional home stagers. Members participate in various chapter and individual community service projects throughout the year. The organization annually participates in IAHSP Worldwide Staging Service Week, an international event implemented by founder and home staging industry creator Barb Schwarz, every September.
