Marko Torppala Adds Extensive Manufacturing Management and Product Knowledge to LMI

Torppala assumed his new responsibilities as of March 15, 2010 and will oversee global manufacturing operations with a focus on quality, on-time delivery, and increased process automation.

With 12 years of relevant management experience for an international provider of wood products equipment, Torppala was involved in sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and production engineering. Additionally, Torppala comes to the position with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology, as well as an extensive knowledge of LMI’s products.
