BKind Vending (www.bkindvending), a natural and organic vending and coffee service company, was selected as a new member of the Bethesda Green Business Incubator Program.
Rockville, MD, March 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Healthy, Organic Vending Option Soon to be Available in Washington, DC Market
BKind Vending (www.bkindvending), a natural and organic vending and coffee service company, was selected as a new member of the Bethesda Green Business Incubator Program.
BKind Vending is a natural and vending company based in Rockville, Maryland. BKind works with schools, businesses, hospitals, community centers, colleges and universities to bring healthy alternatives to vending machines. The company’s goal is to provide access to great tasting snacks that are kind to your body, the planet and everything in between. BKind’s mission goes beyond delivering a great product; it is about adding true value as a good neighbor, citizen and partner. At the core lies the desire to change the perceptions that lead to healthier food choices.
BKind works with organic and natural suppliers that have stellar track records in the areas of environmental responsibility, human rights and fair wage. BKind invests a percentage of profit and time to organizations that promote healthy living, the eradication of hunger and a healthy planet.
“BKind fills a need that is becoming commonly recognized - we need access to healthy, organic food. As we better understand more about the food - sources of production, the impact on the environment and how it is directly tied to our health system, Bkind has a unique opportunity to educate and provide consumers smarter choices”. Say’s Dave Feldman Executive Director of Bethesda Green
“Convenience should not be synonymous with unhealthy,” said Jason Schwartz, BKind’s President. “We can’t change the fact that time is a limited resource, however we can create the infrastructure that supports healthy eating habits in the context of these limited resources”
BKind is owned by Rahel Schwartz, a clinical social worker by training with a PHD in Social welfare. BKind’s President, Jason Schwartz (and Rahel’s husband) is a former banker and executive coach. The food service industry is not new to the couple -- they owned and operated a successful coffeehouse in Jerusalem, Israel.
