Barbizon Graduate Wins Big at Modeling Convention
Crystal Varelis, a Whitewater, Wisconsin resident and graduate of the Barbizon Modeling and Acting Center of Milwaukee, wins major awards at Modeling Convention.
Coral Springs, FL, March 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Crystal Varelis, graduate of the Barbizon Modeling and Acting Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, received a 3/4 scholarship to study Musical Theatre at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA – valued at $65,000.
Upon graduating from Barbizon, the 16-year-old Varelis attended the International Model and Talent Convention (IMTA) in Los Angeles where she participated in a full slate of acting and singing competitions. Crystal’s hard work paid off and she surprised even herself by winning several awards.
“We are very excited for Crystal’s achievements,” said Michelle Bradley, Director of the Milwaukee Barbizon School. “She has been an inspiration to all of us and Barbizon is proud to have her as an alumnus.”
