Maverick Business Adventures® (MBA) Epic South African Safari & World Cup Maverick Excursion is set for July 2-12, 2010 and only two spaces remain.

Maverick Business Adventures is built on unique out-of-office experiences and high-level business connections with an emphasis on philanthropy and “giving forward” to the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

Capitalizing on the allure of South Africa, the centerpiece of the adventure is The World Cup of soccer which occurs once every four years and has never been held before on the African continent. MBA guests will enjoy premiere VIP access to a semi-finals match in Cape Town and the Finals on July 11, 2010 in Johannesburg. Members will get to hang out with top U.S. soccer icons during part of the game for insight into what’s really happening on the field and in the heads of these world-class athletes.

Ulusaba (http://www.ulusaba.virgin.com), exclusive to MBA participants during their stay, is in the heart of the Sabi Sands reserve on the border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Here a ranger and tracker will showcase a number of animal sightings.

From Kleinbaai near Cape Town it’s a short 5-mile cruise to Dyer Island (also known as Shark Alley) where from a steel mesh cage, those brave enough will observe Great White Sharks cavorting and feeding in the wild.

In 2005, Sir Richard Branson launched the Branson School of Entrepreneurship (www.virginunite.com) and in 2008 MBA became affiliated, donating approximately $200,000 in two years to support aspiring young entrepreneurs. Virgin Unite is the nonprofit foundation of the Virgin Group and 100% of its overheads are funded by Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of additional donations received, go direct to the frontline where they are needed most. During this part of the journey MBA participants will share business insights with young entrepreneurs offering advice and inspiration. (In 2009 four MBA members each personally mentored a student at the school and in 2010 MBA seeks to increase the number students being mentored.)

Internationally in 2009 MBA’s Young Entrepreneur’s programs reached over 250 students. MBA also introduced an additional 1,000 young people to the concept of entrepreneurship through video education. The goal is to triple these numbers in 2010.

“As part of our long range vision, MBA has set a goal to positively impact one million young and aspiring entrepreneurs ages 13-25 by the year 2020 through live and online learning, incubators, start-up funding and mentorship,” said Yanik Silver, MBA founder. “It’s this unique ‘giving forward’ aspect that many members love the most. The benefits from impacting just one student are immeasurable.”

He believes in “paying it forward” to inspire, teach and financially support young entrepreneurs. “It is the creative thinker, the risk taker, the dreamer… the young entrepreneur who will lead this world into the new economy and renewed age of prosperity,” said Silver. “One of my real passions is helping young people and turning on the lights for them to see a different direction in their life.”

MBA is the first membership based organization to gather successful, like-minded entrepreneurs and top achievers for adrenalin highs and creating new partnerships and connections while sharing business challenges and case studies.

MBA founder Yanik Silver believes that getting outside the office and tackling new challenges provides the right fuel for innovative, breakthrough thinking. A self-described “adventure junkie,” maverick internet entrepreneur and self-made millionaire, Silver has found that his own life-changing experiences such as running with bulls, bungee jumping and high altitude sky diving have brought a profound sense of accomplishment and led to clarity in ideas and focus. This inspired him to create Maverick Business Adventures® for like-minded entrepreneurs, CEOs and business owners.
