V8 Gateway Collaborative, in Partnership with Center Line, Warren and Detroit Police Departments, Will Host a Community Meeting Focusing on Safety and Security
Police departments in the communities of Center Line, Warren and Detroit in conjunction with the V8 Gateway Collaborative are to hold the Focus on Safety & Security breakfast Wednesday, March 31st.
Warren, MI, March 31, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On Wednesday, March 31, the Van Dyke - 8 Mile Gateway Collaborative (V8) in partnership with the Center Line, Warren and Detroit Police Departments, will host a 'Safety and Security' Business over Breakfast meeting for area businesses from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the American Serbian Memorial Hall located at 19940 Van Dyke Avenue in Detroit.
This Free seminar will provide local businesses the opportunity to discuss community awareness and learn methods on how to to better protect themselves, their businesses, employees and customers. The presentation, given by Police Representatives from the cities of Center Line, Warren and Detroit, will include topics such as jurisdictional collaboration, crime statistics and trends, emergency call guidelines and preparedness, and police presence within the V8 business district. When a business is a victim of theft or other crime, the entire community suffers. Businesses will also learn about opportunities that exist to partner with their respective police departments to help fight crime and create a safer community in which to live, work and play.
They encourage business owners, tenants and property owners to attend. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.
